Our Roots Run Deep

I grew up in Honduras, at my grandmother's house, where coffee wasn't a product, it was a ritual. Every morning, beans were spread across the patio to dry in the sun. My siblings and I turned them by hand, day after day.

We didn't know it then, but we were learning everything that matters: patience, care, and what it means to take pride in what you grow.

That memory is why Café Las Familias exists.

I'm a teacher. I'm a mom. And today, this is something my family and I build together, roasting coffee in small batches and sharing it with others. I started this business to connect two things I love…the families who grow this coffee in the mountains of Central America, and the families here who enjoy it every morning.

We source through a nonprofit partner, working directly with small family-owned farms. The beans are freshly roasted right here. And a portion of every purchase supports education initiatives in Honduras, because I’ve seen firsthand what a difference that makes.

This isn't a big coffee company with a feel-good tagline. It's our family, doing something small that we hope adds up to something meaningful. When you buy from us, you're not just getting good coffee.  You're supporting our family, their families, and the belief that small things, done with care, can make a real difference!
